When 2 meal a day is not available to them due to poverty and unemployment, other minimum requirements like shelter, cloth, medical relief, education for their children are dream for them. Some government programmes like Prime Ministrer Rojgar Yojana, Gopabandhu Gramin Rojgar Yojana provide some of them 100 to 200 days employment in a year. It is a matter of concern to know that when these people do not get a square meal a day, how they would afford for other minimum requirements . Due to poverty, life expectancy is maximum 40 years in rural areas. Tribal people due to extreme poverty even dare to do unlawful activities by destroying forest and wild life for their survival. Their condition is so miserable that even for acute diseases like fever, measles, cholera, dysentery, diarrhea they do not afford to medical treatment and as a result meet their end. Health care provided by government especially in rural areas is inadequate for the reasons that most of the medicines are not provided and charges towards various tests are to be paid by patients as tests are to be made from private agencies which poor people can’t afford for non-availability/dysfunction of equipments in dispensaries/health care centre. Further in interior areas little medical facility is available. Governmental health centre/dispensary/hospitals are available in towns and cities. Mobile health facility is dream for rural people. Some private hospitals in the capital city of Bhubaneswer providing better health care commercially which poor people can’t afford due to very high cost. Due to faster urbanization/industrialization, industrialists rush to this state to exploit rich minerals available in the state, causing migration of rural poor to cities resulting in child labour and increased manifold the population of slum dwellers . Due to poverty and lack of proper education they prefer sex as main source of entertainment and its abuse causes AIDS which is widely prevalent among them. May be for the same reason they are mostly abdicated to tobacco which causes cancer and TB. Local wine is also a big threat for them as due to cheapness they enjoy it largely and as a result various stomach/lever/intestinal diseases cause great harm to their life. To help those non affordable deserving rural poor specially women, children and old aged people this Charitable Trust is committed and projected a Hospital to provide medical relief ,mobile health service to interior rural people where health service is dream for them, on free of cost, free home for destitute, , De-addiction centre for misguided youths. It intends to provide medical education/Para medical education to poor students without any charge towards course fee/tuition fee, lodging & boarding etc. during the entire course period subject to their agreement with the Trust to oblige/repay the total charges after employment within a reasonable period. 50 percent of total seats in Medical Sciences/Para Medical Sciences will be earmarked for poor students whose parents annual income is below Rs.18000/- per annum. Remaining seats will be available for paid students on usual charges subject to pass entrance test purely on merit.
